How the Remanufactured Engines Benefits the Environment

We often pay attention to quality and the savings customers get from opting for remanufactured engines (An original engine is remanufactured to original blueprints and exact specifications, and tested to original equipment standards). Scholars say that remanufactured engines require 50% less energy and only 67% of labour is needed to manufacture new engines. The Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, demonstrated annual energy savings by remanufacturing globally, equivalent to the electricity produced from five nuclear power plants or 10.7 million barrels of crude oil, equivalent to a fleet of 233 oil tankers. Annually, 155,000 rail cars saved by reviving raw materials worldwide will be filled as a train 11,100 miles long.

Patronage of Energy

Unused and abandoned engines are often melted for reuse. But to do so, it takes intense heat. The smelting process consumes millions of barrels of oil or other types of energy. Remanufacturing helps reduce input for engine resmelting.

Conservation of Raw Articles

A remanufactured engine usually takes 1½ engines to manufacture. This recycled part gives components at least a second life and reduces the need for raw materials such as iron, aluminium and copper needed to manufacture new parts.

Conservation of Landfill Space

Our waste engines also keep millions of tons of iron, aluminium and copper from landfill, saving space and money.

Affect on Air Pollution

The pollutant releases pollutants into the air. Once again, keeping parts out of the revolving process benefits by reducing air pollution to the environment.
