The New Flavors of Coca Cola That Are Sweeping Sales

The sales of the multinational soft drinks and sweetened beverages continue to rise, largely motivated by the appearance in the catalog of several new flavors of Coca-Cola that have reaped great success among consumers.

The Coca-Cola group has published the corresponding financial results for the first quarter of this year, in which it has exceeded the expectations of the Wall Street stock exchange, estimated at 7,880 million dollars, below 8,020 million dollars.

It has been a promising fiscal quarter for the multinational in which it has added a net profit of 1,678 million dollars, 23% more than in the same period of 2018. Quarterly income has increased by 5%, to 8,020 million dollars thanks for sale of water, sports drinks and soft drinks Zero Sugar.

The largest bottling inventory, growth in key European and Asian markets or the double-digit increase in Coca-Cola Zero Sugar for the sixth consecutive quarter are some of the reasons for the success. Also worth mentioning is the appearance of a new flavor in more than a decade: we are talking about Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla.

During the last year in addition to this soda, other alternatives promoted by the company were raspberry, lemon and ginger flavored drinks, which work especially well in the Asian continent, where they also sell an alcoholic beverage in Japan.

In total, the company's water, improved beverages and sports business saw sales volume grow by 6%. Another relevant fact is the purchase of 5.100 million dollars from the British coffee chain Costa Coffee during the three months ended March 29.
